And the winner of the Prettiest Weed Award is...

...the bird's foot trefoil.

Lots more done today, although almost all inside the house, sorting, tidying, ridding the place of clutter. Well, that's what I wanted to achieve, just not quite finished yet. It's a constant 'work in progress'.

After lunch the kids went into the garden and shouted for me to go out because there were lots of ants. They weren't kidding. It had obviously been declared flying ant day in our garden, but I gave them a treat of some boiling water and three kettlefuls later they were no more (at least I can hope).

I wandered to the back of the garden and spotted these bird's foot trefoils. Unfortunately they can't stay as we are clearing that patch to change the level of the flower bed, but it definitely wins the Prettiest Weed Award.
