Border Country
This evening I went for a walk along by my local river, the Waveney. It was absolutely gorgeous and I really ought to do it more often.
The air was full of Swallows, Martins and Swifts swooping over the river and the marshes and reed beds on either side. There was a cacophony of sound from Reed, Sedge and Grasshopper Warblers. Whitethroats darted here and there.
Then a Barn Owl started hunting. I would have blipped that but the photos were taken from too far away really to be of any use.
So I give you the River Waveney, the border between Suffolk (on my side) and Norfolk - South-folk and North-folk.
