Bird's Nest

Note to fellow travellers: the overnight flight from Almaty to Beijing doesn't get you a night's sleep, you're only in the air for four hours.

So, I took it easy nosing around the CBD and Chaoyang District during the day before taking the subway out to the Olympic Centre after dark. Didn't have much time to explore before the security guards told me they were shutting for the night (at least I think that's what they were saying, and they were chucking everyone else out as well).
