Interior

The weather was so nice today that I didn't take any photos at the beach as it was too bright and the kids were miles away playing in the water or on the dunes. So lucky to have glorious sunshine, everyone was tired but happy when we got back but this spot, which Alasdair calls the eyrie, is the perfect place to relax and chill out. The raised level is the perfect height to lift the view above the gorse so that you can actually see out to sea, which was always tantalisingly obscured by the vegetation from the old house.

We were treated to another gourmet feast from Eleanor tonight, then we just chilled before most folk turned in early after a lovely long day.
