So, today we got up really quite early (for us, of late) and said fond farewells to our lovely hosts and drove 351 miles home. It was really quite dull, apart from the unbridled excitement of driving along the newest bit of motorway in the country, the M74 - so new it's not even on Google Maps yet - opened on Thursday in our honour (or so our hosts told us!)

Brrenda's putting her feet up right now - she's earned a rest.
