Morning Glory

Well, today was glorious. Granted things didn't start well, with Finlay deciding at 4.30 that he'd slept for long enough!

At a more respectful time, I took him out for an early stroll to the Hermitage; so he could have a nap and I could take some photos. It was a great walk, the morning sun was already warm and the Hermitage was fairly deserted. I was struck by the vibrant colour of the backlit trees and have tried to capture this in today's image. Once again the struggle to capture harsh sunlight proved challenging.
