Well at least they found a use for thon big screen at festival square. Makes a change from it telling you that it's pishing it down or counting down to the Olympics.

Don't think the outdoor screen concept was entirely thought through to begin with though. I mean TV; outside; in Scotland? Genius use of cash. Probably the same chap that suggested bringing trams back.

As I walked past tonight there were a few dozen stupid hardy folks sitting about, but they should have really paid attention to the ominous dark clouds circling overhead. Muzza was never going to do it was he? At least he went out in the traditional Scottish way; build up people's hopes and then dash them to the ground.

He maybe could have done with this bloke there to help him.
