After several rushed blipps at the end of the day, I made the time to get out this morning. Lovely. All the better due to the beautiful sunshine here today as well.

While strolling through the botanical gardens, I took lots of shots. I'm struggling with lighting (and increasingly realizing that I'm going to need some training!), and many of my pictures turned out too washed out.

I loved how the light fell on this little bloom though and thought it particularly appropriate for its delicate, intricate appearance.
