A New Garden Visitor

Was pottering around in the kitchen earlier and suddenly spotted this new little visitor to the feeders. Thankfully she hung around for a bit, giving me time to nip and get my camera!
I am led to believe this is a female siskin and what a beauty she is! So delicate and colourful.
Me, hubby and eldest daughter went for a walk down to the Newport Wetlands today but disappointingly there wasn't much to see down there. Sat in the new hide down there for a while but still no joy! Will have to go again on another day
