Stripes and Stars

Many people think that in China you can only make cheap stuff but actually you can make very high quality if you want to. You have to set the standard, make the work instructions (with pictures) to ensure everything is done according to it and do not assume that certain things are clear.

All companies here have flags in front of their office, first of all the Chinese one, the company itself and the country they come from. Working for a Dutch company our flag (Red White Blue stripes) frequently was hanging up side down so we made a clear marker on the flag.

Or perhaps these people just want to make a political statement.
