What a great view from my window....

I'm really lucky with the view from my window when I work at one of the practices in Edinburgh.

The Dean village nestles alongside the Water of Leith; a tranquil haven from the bustle of the city, yet only a ten minute walk from Princes Street. Originally it was an area that grew around a milling community dating back as far as 1128. Here the the Bakers' guild operated eleven water mills, and produced all the meal for the old town of Edinburgh

I open the window and listen to the water flowing in the river below. On rainy days we watch the ducks getting washed along faster than they can paddle.
In the early summer the feisty heron returns unfortunately descending with speed and takes the ducklings and fish

Peace - even sometimes at work!
