Malaysia travels day 14 - self portrait

I've gone back to using the auto setting a lot -must be the heat, too hot too work out exposures! But this is with the auto timer - thought it was about time you saw the suntan, and me, squinting into the sun.

A day exploring Melaka. I started off at the Museum complex at the Stadthuys and then round to A'Famosa, all that is left of the Portuguese Fort and the replica Maly Sultanate palace. The self portrait is in the 'Secret Garden' there. Then I walked round Chinatown and Jonkers Street. It was too hot for lunch.

A cruise up and down the Melaka River and a hot walk back UP the river to see the heritage Kampung and not visit Villa Sentosa. After that I went back to the hotel- no pool but great air con before going to a MALL! Then back to the Jonkers street area for the inevitable Tiger and a meal at Bistro11.

Back north tomorrow.
