Malaysia travels day 10 - cable car

There is no public transport on Langkawi so it was a taxi ride to the cable car that takes you steeply up Gunung Machinchang.  there wasa huge storm last night so the top was shrouded in cloud and the notice at the bottom said the treetop walkway was shut -luckily it wasn't.  The views across the island (looking down on Telaga Marina and beyond that Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah) are magnificent - the rubbish ditched everywhere is not.

After a walk round the Oriental Village - tourist tat - it was back to the hotel for more relaxing.

Indian meal to-night at Sagar - murgi tikka masala no less and the inevitable 'Tiger'.
