Malaysia travels day 9 - Frangipani

Relaxing means not doing a lot so after a walk 'up the street' from Pantai Tengah to the neighbouring Pantai Cenang (bars, restaurants, tour outlets, hotels, duty free malls) it was back to the lounger by the beach at the Frangipani.  The boat is a memorial to the boxing day tsunami which luckily did very little damage here.  I listened to my book (Stieg Larsson 2), dozed, swam in the sea (a bit rough and that undertow and the pool and got sunburned!

At night, after sundowners by the pool with Bill and Sharon from Christchurch  I ate at the lovely Kantan restaurant - wonderful Malay food in a heritage style building.
