Field of Corn. Plus Tree.
My fear of failing is so omnipresent that even sitting at the Secretary of State office getting a Michigan ID proved to be stressful. After all, this is where I'll eventually do the written driving test and how can you be sure they weren't going to fail me for an ID to start with?
Well, they tried.
Twice I was asked for my I-94, which is what you get when you enter the country and is valid as proof of legal alienness before you have your permanent residency. It's pretty much a stamp in your passport and once you have your green card and social security card, it's just that; a stamp. But I have a new passport from AFTER I moved here, without any stamps. As I explained while my passport was being leafed through by two different people.
We were set aside for the manager to deal with and I said: "See? They are trying to fail me!"
The Beloved patted my back.
Fortunately the manager knew what she was doing so once she was involved things moved fast. And now I'm a registered donor too. I already was, but I doubt they'd ship my stuff back to the Netherlands to donate it, so this way someone over here can enjoy it.
After all that I needed to talk to trees and dig my feet in the earth. So we did :)
I'm not entirely happy with the processing. Would it help if I cropped out some of the brightest corn? It's so high key it almost gives me a headache but, I love the definition it gives to the tree. Too much thinking :(
