I'll Shank You

Family Dinner!

Old Man Friend is in town visiting which led to the latest but yummiest dinner at the dining table in quite some time: guacamole & chips to start, veggie skewers as we waited for the meat to cook...what was the meat? oh, right...the bbq ribs that took FOREVER.... and cornbread dressing/pudding (is it really a "dressing"? but not really a pudding? I don't know...I just know it's tasty!) as an afterthought.

The food was DELISH, plenty of laughs to go around, and I repeatedly felt the need to retort Old Man Friend's jeerings with: "I'll shank you."

Note to self: replace friends after the 10-year mark; otherwise you say things like "I'll shank you" and "meat sweats" without hesitation. Just sayin'. :)
