God is in Heaven

God is in heaven,
All is right with the world.
Trees, and bushes, and flowers,
Are wrapped around unfurled.

Steeples of churches,
Are everywhere found.
Arches with wing-space,
With angels abound.

People are striving,
The commandments to keep.
With part of the world awake,
And some of them asleep.

The sun makes itself bright,
And the clouds move in.
Making the people foremost,
To conquer a grin.

For all things are beautiful,
And thanks is to be given.
As we strive to be righteous,
With God up in heaven.
