Eyeball...

We were pleased to see a frog in the pond yesterday. The volumes of frog spawn that appear each spring and grow into tadpoles which the fish enjoy meant we knew frogs were present, but I had not seen one for weeks.

I had spent half an hour lying on the grass trying to photograph a fish, but could not get a sharp enough focus. Just as I was thinking there was probably a more useful way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon, this guy appeared, undaunted by my presence.
