Dress rehearsal

Took advantage of the wonderful weather this morning going on one of our favourite walks round Lake Gormire. I didn't take my camera as I was determined to blip the dress rehearsal. The day got hotter and more humid. After lunch it was up the A19 again to sit in on the show. Last Thursday's tech was cancelled as there was a power cut! Late start this afternoon then for the dress but it was worth it. The cast did a great job and in spite of me being glued to the script I was able to enjoy the afternoon of foot tapping music. (after a week or three I still tap my feet to the music!) Here's 'Stephen' urging this bunch of mis-fits to help him and 'Norah' build the ark!
My camera battery was getting lower by the minute but thank goodness it just held out.
I think our audiences next week are in for a treat - roll on showtime!
