The Crab Line...

Today, I was engaging in some more litigious exploration of a village I don't belong too!?!

We found a crab carcass line on the beach. It would seem there is a finite distance up the beach that crab carcasses can be washed up. The other day we found a couple of crab parts that the kids took to nursery to show their friends. Today, we kept spotting them everywhere until we realised that it was a specific line of seaweed on the beach that held them. You can just walk all the way along the line and find various sizes of crab shells and empty outards.

Bethany also found a wee lump of sea conditioned chalk which she took to be a stone. Turned out very useful for tagging various items around the beach.
