A Lesson
This shot is a bit of a cheat since it was taken by my wife. We were out for a stroll alongs the farm tracks around our cottage and I was explaining how to achieve depth of field and this is one of the results. Neither of us like the composition much, but it's still a good shot.
I started a book ('Saturday' by Ian Mcewan) this week and finished it today. This is the first time in the 9 months since little man was born, unless you count 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?'. I thoroughly recommend Saturday it's the first Ian Mcewan book I've read and I'm off to seek out some more. Brown Bear, Brown Bear is also well worth a read.
Alternated between Andy Murray in the tennis and the coverage of Glastonbury. The sound quality this year seems worse than ever and some of the presenters could do with a good slap (hello Fearne, hello Jo), but I'm still drawn in. I've been to Glastonbury four times over the years and hope to go back one day, but not yet. The last time I went was in 2007 and the highlight was this from Damian Marley.
