An Old Fashioned Rose

This rose is on the left as you enter the church yard of All Saints Church, Neen Sollars. I have undertaken to look after this plant because I love it. It has such pretty serrated petals and right now is looking charming as it's in full bloom - bodes well for Erika and Paul wedding a year from now.

I went to the church today because I forgot to do my flower duty last week, which was noticed unfortunately. So I raided my garden and did my best effort, but fear I've just done three vases of 'the wild garden' look. I did put some scented roses and honeysuckle and valerian in so at least it will smell nice. And I vaccuumed too so hopefully I will be forgiven.
