Take That and Party

Busy day today - we made it to Gymboree almost on time for once, then H and I headed to M&S for a spot of brunch (if we are on time for Gym, there is no way we have had breakfast!) Went to Mothercare and bought H and "Ben and Holly" t-shirt in the sale, and some Minnie Mouse slippers. I was exchanging another pair of slippers which she had refused point blank to wear. I am hoping I have more success with these ones.

In the afternoon, we went to my parents house. H's Uncle A turned up with cousin L, and it was lovely to see them playing together properly for the first time. They were chasing each other up and down the long kitchen and H was giving L the toys instead of being possessive of them for a change. Very sweet.

H stayed at my parents for dinner whilst I went to meet my friend J, and we headed to Hampden to see Take That. We had a chippy dinner sitting on a pavement (very classy) before heading into the gig. I loved the Pet Shop Boys who were on as support, and Take That were amazing. I thought Robbie stole the show which was a surprise as I wasn't particularly looking forward to him. All in all a brilliant night out.
