Fyne sky
Big change of image tonight from a macro shot of a tiny damsel fly yesterday to a big picture shot of the sky on the way home from Lochgilphead .
Just as we were leaving Lochgilphead the sky ahead began to change , the clouds which had been dark and foreboding began to show patches of silvery light and blue with dark menacing clouds over to the North East. Fortunately , for once , there were no cars following so I watched and waited for a spot with a suitable foreground for this fabulous sky. John , as usual was ready to stop for the "shot".
I got some as we travelled along but I was planning and hoping to get a shot from the top of Minard Hill about 11 miles further along the road. Luck was in and I did get out of the car and wandered down the track , got various shots up Loch Fyne with the Arrocher Alps in the background, even got out the wide angled lens which does amazing things with the clouds.
Liked this one which shows the hill over Minard with the Arrocher Alps away in the distance, quite liked the way the tree line takes in to the tiny farmhouse below the hill. LARGE might be worth a look.
Late upload though because we were at a retiral party in the village hall and have just come back in. great night with amazing entertainment.
Have a great weekend.
