Altnacriche LeadUp day 1

the view from my room at Altnacriche where the LeadUp training week is held.

I had a rather uneventful 4 hour journey up into the Highlands and once I arrived in Aviemore I immediately met a few fellow trainees of which I actually knew one from the Powerpoint stewards team.

Before the evening meal we had an introductory briefing on waht to expect in the week and we had time to meet all the fellow trainees. Met another friend who I hadn't seen in ages and another good friend. Plus of course many other nice people.

After dinner we had our first time of worship and an introduction into the bible teaching which would accompany us for the rest of the week. The group time afterwards went wuite well I thought although I've always been uncomfortable in groups where I have to share a bit about myself.

I do pity group 4 a bit as they will have to do "Serve for a day" tomorrow and it is kind of a jump into the deep end.
