Gimmick

This is how your bill is presented at the very posh Hofgut Georgenthal in Hohenstein. You're supposed to read your bill and put your money in the little drawer. Terribly sweet and all that, but I think it'd be a rather unnecessary footer if the place was full. Perhaps they don't use them then. I don't know - we got ours at a very sedate 2-ish in the afternoon.

Other than that today has been a day of waiting for the email of destiny and it not arriving (I was told that I'd hear about the job by the end of the week perhaps I'm off by a day and I'll hear tomorrow). I distracted myself by listening to the odd song or two.

In between reading more German and completing more German exercises - getting good at ssentence construction and getting better at working my word order. I'd really enjoy a fresh source of these kind of problems and just sit down and work my way through them.

Off out tonight to meet up with a friend and have a bite to eat. Looking forward to that. I'll leave you with this which is from the 1985 Indian version of Tarzan. It makes me laugh. You may recognise the tunes, the acting is fabulous, the jungle is one of those good ones with elephants, lions and tigers (dubbed elephants, lions and tigers at that).
