The Casino, Monaco

Today D and I got up early (he had hoped for a lie in but I told him it was a waste) and we took the train to Cannes (which impressed him especially the large yachts), then stopped off at Nice where we ate in what looked ike a dirty greasy pizza cafe (for a much needed toilet stop) but in fact the pizza turned out to be the best we had (yep we had a lot of pizza with being being a veggie and D not being able to eat beef!) it took 20 mins to arrive but it was worth it. Finally I took him to Monaco and he was like wow, when we got to the Casino Square I was a tad annoyed that there was an exhibition taking place so flags everywhere getting in the way of my hotos but in the end I rather like this as the ball has a lovely reflection and an alternative view of the Casino. D also tried Parasailing which he loved, he tried to get me to try but eeks I don't like heights and I hate being dunked in the sea so no-way and when I suggested it would be much better if I took photos he agreed - phew!
