Pesto Pasta Hat
So, I didn't catch the main event! But no.2 son was predominantly wearing his dinner this evening, rather than eating it. Of course, being no.2 son, he was careful not to drop any pasta on the floor and all spillages were carefully eaten up afterwards (so as to avoid any of that awful waste!)
The bowl he was using had a lovely rim and when it was at a jaunty angle, upside down on his head, he did look rather fetching <note to self - must instil better discipline in children, rather than finding them cute and photographing them> :-/
What else? Work is stupidly busy. I had a meeting today about my workload, which helped not one jot. It merely established that I have too much to do. I knew that.
But a workshop I was facilitating in London next week has been cancelled due to the strike action, so I guess that gives me another day in the office, although I have put a lot of work into it, so I'm a bit dissappointed.
But, hey - it's the weekend :-) For me, anyway :-) And the (unusually) white wine forecast is proving to be accurate!
Also, I've got a friend coming to see us on Sunday and my first swimming lesson with no.2 son tomorrow :-/
Despite the rope burns, head injury, totally (as in: in two halves) broken glasses and abortive workshop preparation, maybe the week will turn out OK???
Happy Friday (Thursday!) xx PS, i also backblipped Fathers Day
