Flat

Stayed overnight in Newcastle with colleagues who were attending a two-day event at the office. I was walking back across the river with Old Bat and spotted something on the walkway just as we were approaching the millenium bridge. I've upped the contrast a bit, as otherwise it merely looked like a test for colour-blindness. The little feller was only about 7 cm long; he'd probably been caught by a cormorant who then dropped him, but unfortunately not back into the water. I'm told he was a flounder (thanks, DH).

Back to the station in a rainstorm so intense that my clothes were still damp when I arrived back home two hours later. Very tired now. 'Night, blipsters.
