Colour Click

We're still trying to decide what colour to paint our lounge, 4 weeks after the walls were skimmed. So, at the moment our lounge walls are fresh plaster colour. Not one I want to keep.

This evening I was trying to work out colours that work with what we've got - the only thing in the lounge that isn't neutral and must stay is our navy blue curtains. So, I found in the Dulux colour book this card which, with a square cut-out in the middle, you place over the item you want to work your colour scheme around, The idea is you photograph it and upload it to the Dulux website who will then tell you what colours will work with your item.

Great theory. My curtains are navy blue. It looked navy blue on screen when it had been uploaded. Dulux reckon the nearest shde to it was Forest Green and put it with green shades. Hmmmm.....
