Cowboy

The day was one of those kind of days.

The evening was spent at my eldest daughter's dance show. Don't get me wrong, I'm filled with pride at such things and think all those young people on stage tapping and highlanding away is a joy to behold but after an hour or so my mind does tend to wander a bit.

Example. During the Neil Diamond 'Sweet Caroline' number I spent most of it trying to remember which darts player was nicknamed 'The Limestone Cowboy'.

Example: during the Tiffany 'I Think We're Alone Now' routine I was reminiscing quite happily to myself about how John Peel used to play a great cover version of it. A lot.
