Swim Lessons

This morning started out very early (and on very little sleep) with Opening Day of the Tournament of Champions. Loren's team, the Giants, made it to the tournament. They were on the field at 9am for the ceremonies and then waited for their 11 am game, only to find out that the other team didn't turn in all of their paperwork or have enough players. It was a forfeit, automatically putting our team in the winner's bracket, We will be returning tomorrow.

With Loren not having to play a game, it made Landon available to his first day of swim lessons. This is his second season with Coach Denis who has taught all 3 boys how to swim! He's been teaching swim lessons in his backyard for over 40 years! In this blip photo, the kids are learning how to 'throw the baseball' aka the freestyle stroke. They are being excellent little students and intently listening to Denis. He has the most amazing way with kids.
