Sweets

It was an honour to receive a box of Indian sweets from my friend, work colleague and fellow blipper Deep who very recently expanded his family with the birth of his twins, a boy and a girl. Apparently it is Indian tradition to give sweets to family and friends on such occasions. It was his first day back at work today and he looked tired but happy. Thanks Deep and congratulations!

Not a lot else happening today. Was a slow journey to work due to the motorway being closed. Took a detour through Castleford but I think a few other people had the same idea.

I'll mention here, for the memory, being woken at three am by a clatter in the night which turned out to be Louis climbing out of bed with two football shin pads tied to his knees and carrying various items including some old red cycling gloves. This apparently is ninja attire, the pads giving protection and the gloves producing some sort of super punch. We are safe at night in our house.
