The War Museum - Musée de l'Armée, P

Eeks loads of catching up to do over the next few days!!!

So many photos I was spoilt for choice but in the end I opted for something which is slightly different to normal Paris shots so this is a backblip of a museum with the WOW factor; opened in 1905 this museum has one of the largest military collections in the world with an amazing array of weapons from different time periods and this is from someone who finds guns 'n stuff boring.

This photograph is of the walkway to the Napoleon collection which blows your mind and even includes one of his horses called Vizir who was a grey Arab and a gift from the Sultan of Turkey which was actually a lot different to how I visualised a war horse to be it probably wasn't much more than 14.2hh, although of course in the taxidermy process it may well have shrunk slightly. However, D and I had a blonde moment and we left without going to see Napoleon's tomb. Oh and later on I got hit on the head by a shoe which flew off someone's foot while they were dancing on a wall near the Eiffel Tower and before you ask no it didn't hurt luckily!!
