Whirlygig....

I shot this in my back garden, I don't know what you technically call one of these things but it just sits there looking pretty and twirls in the wind and the glass ball looks as if its moving....anyway, I have decided to christen it a "whirlygig" cos thats a word I remember calling pretty things that moved in the wind when I was a little boy lol....(I probably was to lazy to say windmill or something)

Its supposed to hang free, but ours is hanging on a nail against the fence by the hot tub, so the "gig" doesnt exactly "whirl" it just sits there. Anyway, I thought i would see if I could get an intersting shot of it and here it is.

Its a cool shape, I got rid of a lot of the colour as I thought it made quite a nice monotone shot, but I did keep the blue of the glass ball in.

Now....everyone go out and buy a whirlygig now....you know it makes sense! ;o)
