Dove

I really liked the picture of this dove/white pigeon. It was in an awful place in the pic so I tried my hand at photoshop to save it. I tried a few other things but none really worked. This is the edit I finally went with. The original is HERE. I would appreciate any tips on what I could have done different.

EDIT: I cropped it because I couldn't work out how to clarify the dove with that big chunk of light stuff behind it. Hints anyone?
