Fresh Fruit
There are thousands of these fruit stands all over Harbin. Lots and lots of them sell pineapples. Must be pineapple season somewhere in China. You can buy a slice (seen on a stick) or a whole pineapple. At these fruit stands, a whole pineapple is always peeled and then they use a modified pair of tongs looking things (yeah I know.. really technical language) to pull out the ummm scratchy bits.. Maaaaaan I am full of technical know-how about these things.
Even though I am from sunny Queensland in Australia, I don't like to eat pineapple very much. I love the taste of fresh pineapple but it makes my teeth feel funny.
It's still a little cold on the streets as you can see by the rugged up sellers.
