With mountains like these

Captivating

I had the misfortune of watching a Greek film this afternoon, apparently it won a Cannes award. It was about a man who kept his family like they were very well kept dogs. Engaging and funny at first, it inevitably became sinister. It was followed by a delightful film documentary about Glenn Gould and though relieved and delighted, I realised I couldn't watch the end as I had been trapped inside by this damned shoulder thing for too long. It's a dog's life.

I got down to the plaza to find a large group of holiday drummers, beating their life out, no doubt sure that the town would delight in the sound of their release. Unfortunately it was not the right moment, and the police dampened their spirits. Sorry, but I was a little relieved too.

I took this of Can Prunera on the way home. The angel above the door seemed to smile at me a little.

Boys returned and abed. I'm off too with maybe a little of part two of Ada Leverson's The Little Ottleys - Tenterhooks. I'm on them again.
