...in all the old familiar places...

I was back again in Sefton Park today for more great music at Africa Oye

The weather was wonderful and I met up with some friends to enjoy the sun and the sounds.

My act of the day today was Ethiopia's Zewditu Yohannes who was not only a terrific vocalist but had a great band - particularly the masenqo (one string fiddle) player - and AMAZING dancers with her. Highly recommended.

I almost posted a shot of her but instead here's the crowd gathering for another day of quality entertainment.
