Cavalry Park, home of Marchmont Cricket Club. I love this place with Arthur's Seat looming over us, the heady smell of urine and socks in the clubhouse, the thousands of golden memories.

Today, however, I pulled my hamstring; the latest in a long line of leg injuries in recent years. My body is trying to tell me something but I keep ignoring it. It'll be a very sad day when I finally do have to pack it in.

I intend going down in flames.
