Piano Lessons

These golf clubs were just a few sets of many, many sets at a pawn shop to which my brother and I went this evening. Made me think that some men thought they'd take up golf, but soon realized that perhaps it wasnt' the best hobby for them.

Like piano lessons for so many of us as kids. Or dance class. Maybe baseball. Or painting lessons.

We want to do so much when we're young. So we beg and plead our parents until they shell out the money for that thing at which we're just certain we'll be the next child prodigy.

Then three lessons later...we quit.



But so what?! So what that we had the courage to try something new, figured out that it wasn't a good fit for us, and moved along? I don't see much wrong with that.***


Oh, to have that fearless ambition again.
