Cinema in St. Andrew's Square

Happened across a showing of 'Shrek' this afternoon (in St. Andrew's Square) which is part of the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Loads of people were having picnics whilst they were enjoying the film. I am so glad the weather was not as awful as yesterday. Other films being shown today included 'Some Like it Hot' and 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'.

After enjoying the atmosphere and having a disagreement with an officious 'cow' who said we were not allowed to take photos (give someone a clipboard and they become real jobsworths it would appear!), headed off to Cineworld to watch 'Green Lantern', which was fabulous!
