With mountains like these

Midnight icecreams

It's difficult to get shots of nutters at (nearly)midnight. I've also discovered the monochrome button, which was useful on this occasion, but opted for this action shot. Sorry.

I'd intended to go with the school trip to the waterpark, but a series of little jobs held me up in Soller in the heat. I was thinking all morning of just swimming and swimming.

The boys came back and bickered a bit, too tired after quite a late night last night yesterday's backblip and I found a good use for the local tiny strawberries and huge fat cherries. I hadn't made Ben a birthday cake yesterday, but we managed three parties (a little sister's birthday too) in one tonight. The football team brought theirs back one day, and we all gathered to celebrate the end of the season. It reminded me of camping holidays when I was little, hearing the screech of children running in the dark. The boys and girls ran round and round the pitch while we ate pa amb oli and trampo. My cake and little pies served thirty and the party was the best we could have hoped for. What lucky children they are! Ice cream at midnight and a parents children footy match starting at 11pm. Madness.

And thank goodness the little boy at school is recovering, thanks for the update ph.
