Last day (for a while)

Today was my last afternoon with my group of 5 kids, until the end of September. On Wednesday I had suggested that they came to today's lesson dressed as a book character. Of course, I completely forgot so had a pleasant surprise when they turned up as a cowboy, spiderman, a flamenco dancer, a matador and Hermione from Harry Potter! One genuine book character and four tenuous links! They all looked very sweet, however.
I will miss teaching them but do feel I've come to the end of my length of string in terms of creative inspiration. My brain feels frazzled as I've pretty much taught non stop since September. I'm totally ready to step it down a gear.
Turkish schools officially closed for summer today, here's to 3 months of sand and sea!
