Spring flakes
Most of the winter we had very utilitarian snow falls:
a sort of industrial white powder that very efficiently buried everything with an almost scouring action,
very little poetry about it.
We are now experiencing extravagantly fluffy flakes
wandering out of the sky,
floating down, up, left, right, forward and back;
licking the skin instead of biting:
just in passing.
