Westray

We were up very very early this morning to catch the ferry over to Westray. It was our first visit & a bit of a washout as it didn't stop raining. We took to dogs too so just staying in the car wasn't an option. Haddock & chips in the Pierowall Hotel was delicious but sitting in wet clothes kind of took the edge off things. We ended up catching an earlier ferry home but promising ourselves a return trip in the near future (after studying the weather reports).
The photo was taken at Noup Head where there were gannets, guillemots & puffins in abundance.
Happy blipday to my lovely Jibba, and as this is his special day I am not going to let on who came with a late burst and found the most grottie buckies! *snigger*
