Stockbridge Heron

A heron where it often is, standing at Stockbridge, Edinburgh, still and listening - near one of the Antony Gormley 6 Times statues in the Water of Leith.

The bird was standing amongst forget-me-nots while a grey wagtail flitted and swooped, and a group of 3 male mallard ducks were feeding nearby.
