A good day to clean

Weather: perfect for cleaning - sunny, no breeze, pleasant temp
Furniture: on the verandah
Floors: swept
Floors: mopped
Furniture: rearranged

Furniture: settled. For now.
Car windows: cleaned on the inside. Smeary greasy grossness gone.
Bedroom windows: cleaned on the inside.
Arms: tired.

Still have another window to go, tomorrow I might start on the BIG floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Also need to move and stack an enormous stack of wood my brother-in-law chopped over the weekend, and chop a bit more. This is what holidays do to me - motivation to clean is zero during semester, but the moment I don't HAVE to do anything, I can't sit still.

Hoping Melbourne releases a friend soon so she can come to Mt Field this weekend. Not looking good, at last report the earliest available seat out is on Sunday. Of course, she flew over with Virgin who are flying below the ash, but was meant to come back on Qantas who's policy goes 'ash = no flying, no questions".

Sun's going down, can't keep the fresh air flowing through the house for any longer - it'll be very chilly in a minute. Better finish the window quickly. Toodles!
