Waiting for you

Katie was waiting excited at the window this morning, watching for Harrison and Aiden to arrive. At 7.30.

They all ate their breakfast well, although bless him, Harrison has clearly got out the wrong side of the bed and has had "one of those days". All day. We headed out for tea and toast and spent a couple of hours playing and eating there.

It was a beautiful day so we took a picnic and straight after we headed for the park. The toddlers played nicely whilst I gave Aiden his dinner, although Emma & her mummy arriving seemed to wind Harrison back up. Plus he had a couple of toileting incidents, bless him. Katie did lots of climbing, heaps of running, a bit of eating.

After the park, we walked to the play cafe, expecting Harrison and Katie to fall asleep. Neither did. Katie still proceeded to belt round the play cafe for nearly 3 hours. I brought her home, thinking it was going to be a battle to keep her awake. However she is now dancing around the lounge to songs.

And yes. Katie is wearing sandals, not wellies.
