My daily almost sunset walk along Playa La Ropa usually reveals a nearly empty beach. Today, however, I was greeted by a beach full of people with most of the activity vendors still around. I don't know if it was the high heat of the day or that visitors wanted to make the weekend last as long as possible, but people were everywhere - both in the water and on the sand. This activity vendor, down by Club Interwest, has normally gone home by this time, but today he was still displaying his rentals. In fact, he was helping launch his yellow kayak as I was taking this photo of his red and blue ones.
